FPS Review Courses
|
CFC-Solar and The Fluid Power Society highly recommend taking a review course before taking a written certification exam and/or a hands-on Job Performance exam. A certification review course is typically 2-1/2 days of instruction, reviewing key elements for the specific certification. The training may be shorter or longer, depending on the needs of the individuals. Typically the written test is given on the last half day of the review and it is conducted by an FPS retained proctor. | |
Specific objectives of the review are:
- Provide information about the test
- Familiarize students to test format by administering multiple sample tests
- Reduce test anxiety
- Help brush up on skills
- Review knowledge one needs to know to successfully pass exam
The review is intended as just that, a review. It is not intended for individuals who lack general knowledge in the specific area. CFC-Solar has developed a series of courses that individuals and groups can take in part or as a whole if they feel they need more than a review to pass the exams. See our training track program for more information.
Reviews and tests open to the public are offered throughout the country. A company may also schedule a review at a location of their choice and have only their personnel attend the course. Once registered for a review, students receive a FPS study guide that is used during the review and contain all of the knowledge one is expected to know for the exam.
CFC-Solar conducts more public and private review sessions then any other training organization and our students enjoy a high pass rate compared to those attending reviews offered by other sources. |
