Assessments
Assessments are an important part of CFC-Solar’s Roadmap to Success. Effective assessments will lead to successfully identifying skill gaps. Once these gaps have been documented, we can merge our various learning tools into multiple training approaches so that all of your employees are brought forward at a rate that will both challenge them and ensure that they will not fall behind. Our most widely used assessments consist of standard or customized sets of multiple-choice questions that can be administered online, electronically via email or using a paper-based version. Using our ToolBox™ LMS, the online format for testing, enables you to receive real-time test results right at your fingertips!
The sample below illustrates the format used in our online assessment. Contact us to try a full sample assessment.

We know your time is important and we will work to provide you with the best format for your time constraints and, if desired, we can also work with your organization to develop a hands-on assessment. We have extensive experience conducting hands-on testing for the Fluid Power Society’s certifications.
Case History #1 A national organization with approximately 300+ mechanics contacted us about initiating a training program. Working with their training team, we developed a customized multiple-choice assessment covering 12 different industrial areas of interest. The assessment was administered using online and paper-based versions. After compiling the results, we met again with the training team and analyzed the results; the outcome presented a story that was different than they expected.
It was decided that those who scored in the lower third of all assessment scores would first be required to take the self-paced online training in order to get their skills up to a basic level before taking an instructor-led class. Those employees scoring in the middle third of the assessment were scheduled into the first part of the instructor-led program. Those employees in the upper third were scheduled into the second level of the instructor-led program.

The results produced a training program that was well received and produced excellent results.
Case History #2 A national company with approximately 250+ union mechanics contacted us about getting their personnel certified. They initially wanted us to conduct a review and Fluid Power Society certification test. After assessing their personnel, management decided to offer their employees a standard and customized course before we conducted the review and subsequent certification testing. The resulting program was an overwhelming success and well received by the employees.
